Artist/writer/creator Michael Golden is best known for his late-1970s work on Marvel Comics' The Micronauts, as well as for his co-creation of the characters Rogue, Spartan X and Bucky O'Hare. As a conceptual cover artist, Golden has penciled everything from Batman and Captain America to Vampirella. He has served as an editor at DC Comics as well as Senior Art Director at Marvel Comics, and has worked on scores of movie projects, some currently in development. His art has been the focus of gallery shows in places as diverse as Gijon, Barcelona, New York, Antwerp, Breda and Brussels, while his class on storytelling has been conducted from Spain to Brussels to France to Canada to the United States – and most recently China. Currently, Golden is working for all the major comic publishers in the U.S. and abroad while working on his creator-owned properties as well as movie production design for several upcoming features.
