TV GUIDE Special Double Issus: August 11
“There’s my world that I made up...and then there’s the fans’ world, which is also very rich in imagination.”
George Lucas, March 2008
A new era of Star Wars entertainment begins in the summer of 2008 when
Star Wars: The Clone Wars hits the big screen. Just like the other installments before it, this film is being met with the unparalleled fervor that only George Lucas and Star Wars fans can generate and TV Guide will be an integral part of the excitement.
Lucasfilm will be working exclusively with TV Guide to create a CD-Rom, affixed to newsstand covers of the magazine, with exclusive scenes, interviews with George Lucas and other creators/directors, a sneak peak at the television series, behind-the-scenes of the making of The Clone Wars, character photo galleries and more.*
The disc will be on the cover of TV Guide’s Family Fall Preview issue, creating the perfect environment for your brand to reach parents and kids. In anticipation of the collectibility of the issue, the weekly newsstand draw will be increased. Ads in the magazine will clearly have a lasting benefit from the additional sale.
Take advantage of this unique opportunity to have more than 20 million consumers interact with your brand message.
