In the January - February 2002 issue of LEGO Mania is part one of a Return of the Jedi comic. Entitled "Ewoks to the Rescue" the three page story combines LEGO characters and CG-type backgrounds.
The story begins on Endor and features some of the new Ewok characters, along with favorites Han, Leia, Chewie, Artoo, Threepio, Scout Troopers and Stormtroopers. A LEGO AT-ST, hang-glider and speederbike are even involved in the battle. The story is to be continued in the next issue.
