The world premiere of
Solo: A Star Wars Story took place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood yesterday with hundreds of celebrities and thousands of flash bulbs in attendance, and a full-size Millennium Falcon parked on the red carpet.
But going largely unnoticed in the throng was the life-sized cockpit of Lando's ship
de jour made entirelyof LEGO bricks.
Weighing it at more than 3,400 pounds (that's just over 1500 kilograms) and took 705 man hours to construct, it was a draw for many attending the event - including Mal from the Serenity, Carlton from Beverly Hills and Richard from Silicon Valley.
Solo: A Star Wars Story gets its full-on release on May 25th. Toys from the LEGO line are already on sale in bricks & mortar stores
as well as online at LEGO.com.
