Star Wars branded skateboards with the release of wave three in their
Star Wars collection. This wave features three new character designs (Yoda, Obi-Wan, & The Emperor) available in the impressive blister style packaging, or "shred ready". There are also two new
Star Wars scene boards. The Cantina scene, and Rancor scene both featuring an old school board shape. Plus the R2-D2 inlay that is on my Christmas wish list!
Three new Star Wars skateboard decks are available in either “Collector’s Edition” or “Shred Ready” models so fans can set up one to ride or keep the other in its highly collectible packaging. The "Collector's Edition" is packaged in a vintage toy inspired blister pack and includes a laser etched numbered deck, matching the laser cut Certificate of Authenticity, and a deck art poster. The "Shred Ready" model comes in standard shrink-wrapped packaging.
Santa Cruz has created new, exclusive interpretations of your favorite Star Wars scenes. The Cantina Scene and Rancor Scene decks are an old school shape with custom artwork by Santa Cruz. 7 ply of the finest maple in skateboarding with reissue concave.
The best piece in the collection by far is the R2-D2™ Wood Inlay deck. That just might be the R2-D2 focus collector in me though. The entire graphic is constructed using laser cut Mapa Burl, Rustic Burl, Walnut Burl, Padoik and Ebony wood veneers that are then individually hand assembled. These incredibly unique decks are laser serial numbered with matching numbered Certificates of Authenticity and encased in it’s own custom foil printed and embossed, foam lined display box – a must have for both Star Wars™ and Santa Cruz Skateboards™ collectors.
