View the Full Gallery Here.This statue was one of Gentle Giant's first entries after the acquisition by Diamond Select Toys, and it is marvelous. Of note, there was a variant for PGM members that included an alternate head with and X-Wing pilot helmet. As you can see in the photos there is an immense attention to detail. Not just in the face sculpt, which is excellent, but there is great detail made on the clothing from the boots to the sash to the arms wraps, the staff, and the accessories.
One great feature we noticed was how the statue is made in several parts at the most fragile sections or to accommodate the staff accessory. One thing we noticed in past molds, the Amanaman bust for example, is that thin joints and accessories when part of one build tend to break in shipping. This separates the head with the thin bangs and the staff from the central part of the statue. Even more impressive is the head and arm attache with magnets for a solid fit. This also allows the staff the sling onto the shoulder for a natural look vice a molded appearance.
