First and foremost, fans of the Forcecast can find the team in the Official Pix Autograph Hall. There will be a booth setup in the middle of the hall for the Official Pix Store. The Forcecast will have a stage on the back side of this booth, next to the Rebelscum and TheForce.net booth.
The intention for the crew, is to broadcast live as much as possible throughout the convention, and to include streaming at
http://forcecast.net/live (bandwidth-permitting) for those who can't attend. Stay tuned to the
@ForceCast Twitter account for updates throughout the con.
Some of the things you can expect from the Forcecast during the weekend:
- The obligatory "opening" and "closing" sessions.
- Panel coverage wrap-ups and various celebrity interviews.
- "Meet the Hosts" - For approximately two hours late Thursday afternoon, drop by the booth to meet all of the network hosts and find out more about us in an "Ask Us Anything" session!
- Roving "Man on the Street" interviews with random attendees and cosplayers.
- A demo of Fantasy Flight Game's Star Wars roleplaying game.
- Our "predictions" recap, plus new predictions (submit your questions now to forcecast@forcecast.net)
- A special live recording of a new Network show (to be revealed at Celebration)
- An interactive episode of Echo Base (or more!), during which people can ask our opinions on various topics, and we'll ask the audience things in return!
- The Outer Rim movie draft
- A demo of another FFG game (X-Wing, Imperial Assault, or Armada)
These are just some of the great things happening at the booth. Keep checking Twitter and stop by the booth for more scheduled listings, and be sure to say "hi" to Erik, Eric, Justin, Lou, Jay, Chris, Kyle, Megan, John, Paul and Josh!
